Yesterdays Blackberry picking reminded me of some work I had done using Blackberries to dye muslin...so today I spent time revisiting my old sketchbook samples...

This lovely pre knitted wool reminded me of the rain running down the Studio window today...

Spent a lovely day in the Studio dying fabric shades of sea blue....

The very last Hollyhock of the summer..The rest have already gone to seed....

I love the beginning of September when the sky has an Autumn rosy glow..I rescued these old nails from the remains of a bonfire and hung them on thin cotton..just to look at them against the sky....

Another warm June day 
Spent sometime sitting and looking instead of doing my usual seashore search.. 

The summer weather returned today my daily walk revealed
a beach littered with bits of boat a casualty of yesterdays storm. 

It was way too cold and windy to go out for a walk today so I spent some time constructing books instead.

Two walks along the beach today, one for exercise the other for collecting.

Came home with a tiny grey feather, a hand full of rusty wire and  four different things with holes in.

Making some circles of rust on a long roll of paper for my tide line project.

A walk along the tide line tonight reminded me of a line of blue cottons I used to have hanging in my hall.
